“The Bold Type” Returns This Week, So Here Are 10 Memorable Moments From The Show
I recently came to be obsessed with the show The Bold Type. Like a modern day Sex and the City, I just fell in love with each complexity of the individual characters, the overall storyline of what it takes to create a magazine, and of course, the friendship between Kat, Jane, and Sutton. The show is based on Joanna Coles, the first ever Chief Content Officer of Hearst Magazines and former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan. Joanna serves as one of the show’s executive producer, given that the show is based off of her career.
And the best moments from the show? Psh, that’s easy. (Not.)
Jane publishing her first article as a staff writer for Scarlet.
2. When Sutton fought for her fashion assistant job under Oliver. (And won!)
3. Kat owning her sexuality and falling into a relationship with Adena.
4. Basically any scene with Jacqueline as a powerful editor-in-chief.
5. Sutton and Richard’s reunited kiss in Paris.
6. The “wonder woman” pose.
7. The “Carry the Weight” episode in which Jacqueline shares her sexual assault story.
8. When Kat ran for public office.
9. Jane and Jacqueline, again together, publishing a story about Pamela Dolan.
10. The one with Kat, Jane, and Sutton chillin’ in the bathtub. (Any episode with all three of them, really!)
