Hi! I’m Olivia.
I work in editorial by day, and at night, I’m the digital content creator behind this blog who has a passion for romance novels and sitcoms.
When I graduated from college in 2018, I had no idea what to do. Struck by my love of writing, I created a blog after college and dedicated it to inspiring others. I loved so much what I did in my free time, it paved the way to working in editorial full-time. Combine writing and a love of pop culture and blogs, I eventually created “A Daily Dose” to give—quite literally—a daily dose of lifestyle, faith, and culture, including recaps on reality TV (The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars), and roundups and reviews of new movies, music, podcasts, and books.
I grew up on the outskirts of Richmond, VA and attended Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). I have two older brothers, along with my mom and dad. My mom inspired my love of reading anything and everything, while my dad and brothers inspired my love of baseball.
Now living near Washington D.C., you can find me reading last month’s popular romance novel, drinking hot coffee, or lounging on my couch with my dog.
Let’s chat.

Okay… who am I? What do I like?
If I need a comfort show, it’s always Gilmore Girls, New Girl, or Friends. (Ask me who Rory’s best boyfriend is, and I’ll give you a different answer every time.)
I’m writing a novel! It’s a contemporary romance set on a college campus.
I love mornings, although I prefer quiet mornings to read and reflect.
While I have come to hate the gym, I love taking group exercise classes.
My favorite romance tropes in books are: Friends to Lovers, Fake Dating, Grumpy/Sunshine. But I will always, always take a good Enemies to Lovers book.
