30 Amazing And Small Things That You Can Do To Lift Your Mood
Leave bad attitudes and negativity in 2019, y’all. 2020 is about positive vibes and smiling! After all, smiling’s my favorite. These 30 things might not seem like a lot, but they’re little things that you can do throughout your day that will put a smile on your face or deep down, make you feel all warm inside.
Smile.
Read that book that’s been on your TBR pile forever.
Buy that one thing that you’ve been saving up for.
Laugh. At anything. (Tik Tok is my new addiction).
Listen to your favorite playlist.
Look at photos of Tom Holland. (And his dog, Tessa.)
Watch your favorite feel-good movie.
Binge a TV show.
Read your Bible, girl.
Plan out meals for the next week.
Eat a snack.
Write in your journal.
Write anything, even if it’s just a brain dump.
Blast some tunes, turn up your speaker, and dance it out.
Sing in the shower.
Take a bath.
Clean your bathroom (it probably needs it).
Read your favorite blogs.
Catch up on YouTube videos.
Take a nap.
Listen to a podcast.
Drive around listening to your favorite playlist or podcast.
Draw. Hand-lettering works too.
Clean out your closet.
Then, bring all your old clothes to a donation center (The Salvation Army or Goodwill).
Set your daily, weekly, monthly, and/or yearly goals.
Plan out your week ahead—so you don’t get stressed out at the last minute.
Light a candle. (Trader Joe’s candles are my favorite.)
Spend quality time with your family. Or friends. Or dog.
Sit down and spend at least five minutes with Jesus.
