Little Things I'm Looking Forward To This Week & Setting Goals for Myself

Hi, friends.

This has been a weird time for everyone, in different ways for everyone. I was trying to figure out how I could spread positivity. So, I wanted to include a list—hopefully every Monday—of little things I’m looking forward to each week. Some might be small, some might be major. I won’t be including anything too personal, most will include what’s happening on TV, what I’ve ordered on Amazon, or just a simple Friday/weekend routine.

Monday, May 18

As this post goes live, it’s Monday night. And I wanted to include something that I’m looking forward to tonight: The Bachelor Listen to Your Heart finale! It’s a cheesefest, but it’s pure entertainment on my Monday nights, especially in quarantine. It’s something to look forward to!

The Voice part 1 finale! I won’t be watching this live because of The Bachelor, but I’ll follow along via Twitter!

Tuesday, May 19

Watching The Today Show in the mornings. I’ve been really trying to keep up with good news, and the Today Show does a good job of featuring awesome people. They had a segment honoring graduates, doctors and other medical personnel, and celebrities who are doing good.

Finishing my book! I’m reading The Book of Longings right now, about the wife of Jesus, Ana, and I really want to finish it! It’s sooo good and I’m very excited to write a review on it, so I’m eager to finish this tonight or tomorrow.

Wednesday, May 20

For me, all of my favorite podcasts come out on Wednesday. Bad on Paper podcast, Gals on the Go, SHE Podcast by Jordan Lee Dooley, and The Empowerment Project podcast. I definitely recommend tuning into each of these if you enjoy lifestyle podcasts.

Before I listen to my podcasts, of course I watch The Today Show! Been loving Today’s 4th Hour with Hoda and Jenna.

Thursday, May 21

Not to plan out my week, but I’m also trying to watch all of the Marvel movies in order of release! Tonight, I’ll probably be watching Captain Marvel.

And another podcast day, with I Love You So Much by Kenzie Elizabeth and then Gretchen Geraghty Happy Hour podcast comes out on Thursday.

Friday, May 22

I think this is pretty obvious, but it’s Friday!! What else is there to look forward to? Fridays, even during quarantine, are just perfect. You’re wrapping up the end of the week and getting started on the weekend. Even when days seem like they’re blending together, you can always look forward to Friday.

Continuing my Marvel movie marathon, I’ll probably be watching Avengers: Endgame. And then maybe Spider-Man: Far From Home.
