7 Lifestyle Podcasts That You Can Listen To On Your Morning Commute

Hi, friends.

I realized I haven’t updated what podcasts I’ve been loving! I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts in quarantine recently, something very unusual! I highly recommend having a podcast in the background while you’re working. What podcasts, you may ask? These five! Let me know if you listen to any of these or you have a podcast in mind that you want to share.

Gals on the Go

Of course I have to include this on the list! “Gals on the Go” is hosted by YouTubers/influencers Danielle Carolan and Brooke Miccio. Danielle is in college at the University of Georgia, while Brooke is navigating post-grad life after graduating from the University of Georgia, while pursuing YouTube full-time. Brooke is moving to NYC in the summer, and I’m excited to see the moving vlogs and hearing all the updates and apartment decor on the podcast.

Bad on Paper

OK. I’ve also talked about this, but I have to include this. Bad on Paper podcast is hosted by blogger and founder of TheStripe.com Grace Atwood, and her co-host, Becca Freeman. Every month, they include a book club pick and one episode per month they discuss the book. The rest of the time, they interview anyone like authors, influencers, writers, company founders, CEOs, and even politicians. And sometimes, they do “solo” episodes where it’s just them answering questions from listeners. Tune in every Wednesday—Wednesdays are my new favorite days because I have Bad on Paper to look forward to.

So, What’s Next? With Michelle Reed

Lifestyle YouTuber and influencer Michelle Reed just launched her own podcast, “So What’s Next.” It focuses on thing like post-grad lifestyle, getting your dream job, negotiating your first salary, and budgeting. Each episode comes out on Mondays, which is a great start to your week.

Happy Hour Podcast with Gretchen Geraghty

I recently started listening to Happy Hour podcast, and it’s been a great decision so far! It’s just a bundle of positivity and it really lifts my mood if I’m ever having a bad day. The host, Gretchen Geraghty, posts lifestyle vlogs to her YouTube channel, which I’ve started watching now that I listen to her podcast.

Thick & Thin with Katy Bellotte

I like to think of “Thick & Thin” as a journal but for your ears. YouTuber Katy Bellotte calls her podcast a journal or diary where she just vocalizes her thoughts. She talks about failure, working freelance, jealousy, instant gratification, and more topics that make you think.

I Love You So Much with Kenzie Elizabeth

YouTuber Kenzie Elizabeth is the host of her own podcast, “I Love You So Much.” In addition to posting lifestyle vlogs on her YouTube channel, she interviews influencers and business owners on her podcast. She also does solo episodes which are just as good! Her books content have also inspired me to read so much more. She also talks about her faith and devotional routines both on her podcast and YouTube channel.

Be There In Five by Kate Kennedy

I started listening to Kate Kennedy’s “Be There In Five” podcast and am very interested! I’m currently listening to her three-part series on influencer culture. The first episode was an interview with Stephanie McNeal, a news writer at Buzzfeed that specializes in influencers. It’s VERY interesting to hear about how influencers are still posting in quarantine. Not all influencers are “bad” per say, or what they say in this podcast episode. Kate Kennedy also talks about pop culture, books, and other entertainment-related topics.
