A Round-Up of Lifestyle Post-Grad + College YouTubers Who Provide Real + Relatable Content
I wrote a round-up of mid-size YouTubers that inspire me in my body positivity journey. I absolutely loved writing that post, so I decided to write a round-up of YouTubers that I enjoy watching. Now, I want to explain why and how I watch these videos; I don’t watch them mainly to buy into the latest trend, buy a $600 chair, or try to look exactly like them. I don’t watch them so I can make them out to be a “celebrity.” I don’t watch them because they’re “goals.” I watch mainly because they’re relatable; I put them on my screen because it’s like talking to a friend (I don’t talk to the screen, btw). Some of the things they talk about are: mental health and therapy, cooking and exercising even when you don’t feel like it, and the struggles of making friends and dating. These are all things that I’m going through and it’s nice to know that someone else out there is struggling with similar things.
And I hesitated making this post solely post-grad YouTubers, meaning they’ve graduated college and they’re more relatable to me. But there are some college YouTubers that are still relatable to me as a 24-year-old! So, here it is. Due to giving image credit, I link the button to their Instagram—but you can find their YouTube channels in their Instagram bio or I linked them in the description box.
Let me know if you follow anyone else! Some honorable mentions were Breanna Cooney, a faith-based YouTuber, Julia Crist, a lifestyle and tech college YouTuber, and Delaney Hogg, a college and post-grad lifestyle YouTuber. I’m always down to finding more YouTube gals and supporting content creators. Like I mentioned earlier, I don’t follow these YouTubers to make them out to be a “celebrity” or even influencer. Do they influence me to buy certain products? Yes. But what their content makes them so great is that they are relatable and make you think that you’re just chatting with them over coffee.
