5 Bookish Podcasts For The One Who's Looking For Their Next Read

Hi, friends.

It’s been a while since I did a book post. I’ve been a little stagnant on the reading front; it’s been a little hard to finish a book! But, I’m getting back into it. And one great way to dive back into your love of reading is by listening to some awesome book podcasts!

BOOKS AND THE CITY

A bookish podcast I can definitely recommend. The four hosts, while living in NYC, interview authors, discuss their book club picks, what they’re reading, and they all have different reading tastes!

BAD ON PAPER PODCAST

I’ve talked about this podcast before, but Bad on Paper is hosted by blogger Grace Atwood (founder of Stripe.com) and Becca Freeman, freelancer and co-host of RomComPods. They talk about all things books, reading, things they’re loving, some politics, and (did I mention this before?) books! They interview authors like Katherine McGee from American Royals, Rebecca Serle from In Five Years, and so many more. They have a book club podcast once a month, where they choose a book at the beginning of the month and they discuss it at the end of the month. This is a 10/10 podcast recommendation for anyone looking for a classic bookish podcast.

THE STACKS PODCAST

If you haven’t heard of this podcast, go listen to it now! It’s hosted by Traci, and joined by the Ladygang podcast girl gang. They talk about their book club picks, reading habits, what they’re loving, and so much more! Traci is an amazing podcast host that dives into awesome bookish conversations.

the readheads

Each episode centers on one book, and the hosts discuss the plot and storyline. Highly, highly recommend if you’re looking for a bookish podcast covering a wide range of genres! Hosted by Jackie Oshry, also one of the hosts of The Morning Toast.

what should i read next?

Hosted by Anne Bogel, blogger at Modern Mrs. Darcy, this podcast is for the “lifestyle book nerds.” She gives great book recommendations, awesome reading tips to mix up your reading lifestyle, and then throws in anything she’s loving. This is definitely a podcast I’m going to be listening to soon!!
