Reminder: You Are Loved.

Everywhere you look, people are saying to stay home, wear face masks, wash your hands, etc. Brands, companies, restaurants, and so many more individuals are releasing information and updates on coronavirus. Idk about everyone else, but I’m a little overwhelmed. (Ok, I’m a lot overwhelmed.) Like…so much. We’re living in a fog. And the worst part is? We don’t know when the fog will lift.

We’re living in uncertain times, that’s for sure.

Most of us are feeling anxious, worried, fearful…for tomorrow. We’re being bombarded by news headlines, social media posts, and people yelling (yes, yelling) to stay home. A lot of people are in this state of confusion right now.

Some of us are even sick. Some are physically hurting, some are are spiritually hurting. Some of these people who are feeling this way don’t know the Gospels, or have never met Jesus. We’re in this situation where people are living in fear and doubt.

So idk about you, but this reminder has been on my heart. It’s so simple, yet so powerful. It doesn’t take a genius to figure this one out lol, but I just have felt in these past few days that God has laid this on my heart, and tonight, He wanted me to share with the world no matter what people say or think. He wants me to share this message with people.

You are loved.

God is near the broken-hearted. God has not abandoned you. Whether you’re waiting for this pandemic to end, worrying about school or work or finances, or worried about your health, God has got you. He cares for you. He’s there, working through you even when you can’t see it. Because God loves you. He loves you so much. Sending His Son, Jesus, to the cross, just shows how much He loves us.

He’s working through this pandemic. He’s working for you, and through you.

He loves the sick. He loves the broken. He loves the lost. He loves the ignored. He loves the outsiders.

Most importantly, He loves you. He cares for you.

There’s so much more to God, and you can get to know His character by picking up His Word. The Bible can show you so many truths behind God’s character, and He’s just waiting for you to get to know Him. You don’t have to be raised in the church to know God; you don’t have know fancy words to know Him. There’s no password to know Jesus. Just open your heart, and let His love overwhelm you.

Psalm 105:4, “Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually!”
