April 2024 New Releases I've Been Loving + Looking Forward To

April is a fabulous month to announce a new book! New album! With The Tortured Poets Department firmly planted in my mind until further notice, I am also thinking about all of the new books that came out this month and have yet to come out this month.

A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna

I listened to A Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by her last month and was absolutely blown away by it. It’s a cozy fantasy and such a good comfort read to listen to when you need to relax. I am very excited to dive into this one!

Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez

I fell in love with Abby Jimenez’s book Part of Your World and Yours Truly (in the same universe), but need to catch up on her backlist books as well. (The Friend Zone series!) I’ve already heard great things about this one and very excited to read it. I also got it in my Book of the Month box so that’s exciting!

The Rule Book by Sarah Adams

I finished this last week and I am obsessed with Derek and Nora! Sarah Adams does not disappoint with her cute, delightful, enjoyable, comfortable, contemporary romances. I will post a full review in my April reading wrap-up but I gave this book a solid four stars!

Here We Go Again by Alison Cochrun

I read The Charm Offensive by this author and I still think about it! This looks like a good road trip, vacation romance and I’m so excited.

Funny Story by Emily Henry

One of the most anticipated romance books of 2024! I will buy any book by Emily Henry, aka the modern-day rom com queen. Emily Henry is like the Taylor Swift of romance book world. She writes not only good romances, but good books. I’m excited to add this book into my Emily Henry collection.
