My Christmas Wishlist + Holiday Gift Guides for Everyone
I’ve said it before, and will say it once more: Christmas season is upon us, y’all. Idk if it’s late or not, but I’m currently shopping for my holiday presents for everyone. (Tbh, I shop for presents late in the season every year.) While I am shopping, others are asking ME what to get ME for Christmas. I mean, at any point of the year I can rattle off things that I want/need in my life. But come Christmas season, I forget everything that I want and then all I can say is, “money” or “gift cards.” And that’s well...lame. So I’ve put some thought and effort into this post, so for all of my family and friends who are reading this—good luck, Charlie. (Disney reference, y’all.)
Amazon Plush fleece slippers, $24
What girl—anyone, really—doesn’t want a pair of slippers? I am always cold, and anyone who’s met me knows that I am always in a sweater, jacket, or blanket wrapped around my shoulders. I prefer the slippers that cover your toes, but these slippers from Amazon are styled like flip-flops, where they show the toes, and I actually like them. These are a GREAT gift idea for your mom, your roommate, gal pals.
Books, books, and more books.
One Day in December, A Ninth House, Know My Name...just all the books. (All of these are on my TBR!!) Giving the gift of books to family and friends is—in my opinion—truly the best gift you can give. I started a #bookstagram recently, and I am hooked. I use it much more than my personal Insta, so go follow if you want: @adailydoseofreading. I want all the books, y’all.
Essential Oil Diffuser
I need an essential oil diffuser. I’ve been wanting this for a long time, and from what I’ve heard about it, it’s relaxing and calming. It’s what—only $14 on Amazon?!
Kenneth Cole Black Lace Up Boots
Boot szn, y’all. My ankle-length black boots from Nine West (half-off at Kohl’s) just came in the mail, and I couldn’t be more excited. These Kenneth Cole Black Lace Up Boots are also on my list, because I believe every girl should have a pair of black boots, short and tall.
MacBook Pro, 13”
My MacBook has been chugging along with me since freshman year of college. It’s been with me through thick and thin. It’s not time yet, but I think a MacBook Pro is in my future. Especially with blogging and writing, I kind of want to upgrade. I’ve been scrolling through the Refurbished MacBooks on Amazon recently…
Satin Pajamas
Just like the black boots, I believe every girl should have a pair of refined, satin pajamas. I’ve had my eye on pajamas from specific shops and brands, and The Everygirl is great about monitoring the trendiest, best quality pajamas and other clothes. I’ve been on their site a lot recently, scanning their holiday guides and holiday pajamas!
HelloFresh
Not something tangible, but I thought I’d include something practical. I’m all about meal prepping, and I’ve recently put a goal on myself to stop ordering takeout food so much. HelloFresh is a meal-kit delivery provider that sends you however many recipes to you each week. It’s $69 for three meals a week, and $84 for four meals a week. Personally, I think it could be worth it because for the non-cook gal like myself, it essentially teaches you how to cook.
OTHER gift ideas for your loved ones:
Dad: this hydroflask, because what Dad isn’t on the go?
Mom: this wine cooler, it’s stylish and chic, yet inexpensive—straight from Amazon!!
Brothers: idk why men are drawn to Carhartt brand, but they seem to love it. (Even I’ve stolen my brothers’ Carhartt stuff.) This Carhartt long-sleeve shirt—on Amazon, of course—is $20 and a perfect gift for your brothers.
Friends/roommate/gal pals: a bamboo bath caddy from Amazon, for all your self-care bath needs.
