Friday Favorites: Another Round of Things I'm Loving This Week!

I am amazing. Show-stopping. Groundbreaking. (I’m thinking of that Lady GaGa Tik Tok, people.)

To be clear, I am sticking with this series “Friday Favorites.” I hope you like reading these, whoever you are, and get a taste of what I’ve been loving.

Listens:

My “keepin’ it country y’all” playlist on Spotify. Yes, that is the actual playlist title. I have been on a country music kick. Tbh, I haven’t listened to that many podcasts this week, but Jordan Lee Dooley’s SHE Podcast has been speaking some truths lately. Definitely go check her out, she interviews a lot of great people!

The Empowerment Project with Michaelyn Modglin: I found this podcast and y’all … so much truth! The host, Michaelyn Modglin, interviews such cool people and speaks God’s truth while doing so. She’s interviewed people like Kenzie Elizabeth, Hunter Lindsey, and Grace Valentine.

Books:

Resistance Women: I just started this book, and loving it already! It takes place WWII and even pre-WWII in Germany. I am literally on chapter three, so I’ll eventually do a book review. I keep meaning to a book round-up of what I’ve read lately…

The Book of Psalms: Just so much truth here from the Bible. If you’ve been struggling in your faith, or just new to Christianity in general, I recommend opening up Psalms. It’s a great eye-opener into God’s Word.

Watch:

Grey’s Anatomy: I finally caught up on Grey’s Anatomy!! I have a lot of thoughts on this latest episode, the episode we say goodbye to Dr. Alex Karev. (heart emoji) I’m not ok. I wrote the first part of this sentence before I watched the new episode, and now I’m writing this the day this post came out (lol). I’m not ok, Shonda.

The Bachelor: the WTA was this past week, and it was just a bunch of yelling, a oversized champagne bottle, and a very important conversation about cyberbullying and online hate led by former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay and Chris Harrison. Oh, and Peter chose his final two: Hannah Ann and Madison. Personally, Madison is my favorite—the way she sticks to her values and beliefs (without judging Peter, by the way) is personally amazing and I highly respect her for that. We stan.

These Target pajamas. These are SOOO comfy. I am obsessed. I’ve been looking forward to changing into these pjs all day. I have them in black.

This Elizabeth Warren article. Super Tuesday came and gone, and the last women serious presidential candidate dropped out of the race—leaving Biden and Sanders as the top two contenders.

This awesome article about intuitive eating! I work out because I want to work out and establish a fitness routine—I stopped working out to only lose weight and inches. And I started being careful about what I’m putting in my body—healthy nutrients only and if I want to eat that cookie, I’m going to eat that cookie!
