6 Faith-Filled Podcasts to Listen to While Social Distancng
Whether you’re cooking dinner, taking a walk outside, or just working remote for your job or school, listen to a podcast! These following podcasts will help you grow in this faith in this difficult season. They bring light in this weird darkness. They bring truth when the world can often tell you lies. Hope you enjoy these, I’ve subscribed to all of these and currently binging some of these as I write this article!
For The Girl by Delight Ministries
I was trying to find a faith-filled podcast that was also entertaining, and this one was the first ones off the list! It actually came up in the Recommended Podcasts below the I Love You So Much podcast with Kenzie Elizabeth, so if you like Kenzie’s podcast, you’ll like For The Girl. The first episode I found was the one about dating with Christin Whitney, a Bachelor fan-favorite. Go give this one a listen!
That Sounds Fun by Annie F. Downs
Ironically, Kenzie Elizabeth recommended this one on her Instagram stories as well. She recommended the episode with Lauren Daigle, so if you haven’t listened to that one, I highly, highly recommend starting with that one.
Dream Big Podcast by Bob Goff & Friends
If you don’t know who Bob Goff is, go look him up immediately. He’s a breath of fresh air, a light amidst darkness, a friend when you need it. I’ve read Love Does and just ordered Everybody Always, and I actually am reading through his 365-Day Devotional. This podcast, one he hosts with his good friend Scott Schimmel, interviews some great people including Sadie Robertson and Bethany Hamilton.
Views from the Porch
If you’re looking for a sermon podcast for young adults, look no further. Views From The Porch is from a church out of Texas. They have another podcast, entitled The Porch, too. Listen to the episode, “Who You’ll Be In Ten Years” on The Porch. Seriously, go listen to it!! It will change your perspective on finding your purpose.
Bought + Beloved with Kirby Minnick
A breath of fresh air. Kirby Minnick is typical Gen Z. She lives and breathes the Gospel and fixes her life on spreading God’s Word in a language that connects with young people. One of her latest episodes discusses evangelism. Please, go listen to this podcast!
Radical with David Platt
I’m a little biased, since I’ve started going to McLean Bible Church more recently. But David Platt is a phenomenal speaker and he communicates the Word in such a powerful way. He speaks from the glory of God and he challenges “radical” ideas. He has another podcast, Pray the Word with David Platt that speaks daily prayers and truths!
