Mid-Year Book Round-Up: All The Books I Read In 2022 So Far
I’ve read 32 books this year (!!!) so far and that’s a lot for me at this point. Last year in 2021, I read 32 books total. And I was finishing one book literally on New Year’s Eve just to hit that reading goal I set for myself. But this year, I set a reading goal of 50 books and I’m sort of on track for that? I’m not sure, because I’m kind of a mood reader but I think reading 32 books by July is extraordinary for me.
I’ve thought about the concept of a reading goal, specifically for 2023, and honestly, I don’t think I’ll set a reading goal for 2023. Or at least a specific number. I realized I get so caught up in the number of books that I read in a year, that I forget what I actually read. Instead, I’d like to focus on what authors I enjoy, what genres I like to read (and in specific seasons), and more non-fiction, specifically Christian books.
So, these are all the books I read this year so far; I organized these by ranking, from five stars to three stars. I haven’t read any books lower than three stars, so fingers crossed that I carry out the rest of the year on a good note!
