I am in love with the Christmas season and everything that comes with it. Christmas movies, music, decorations, lights—just everything about it is happiness. Reading holiday and Christmas-themed books? Even better. 🥰 These are some books that I gathered that I want to read this Christmas season! Some of these books are new releases and some are back listed—but all are charming, warm-hearted cozy rom-coms that you can curl up with while sipping a hot beverage. ☕️

Always, in December by Emily Stone 

Curl up on the couch in your favorite pajamas with a hot beverage while you settle into this warm, charming holiday story. It starts with a letter, written by Josie, to the parents she lost on Christmas years ago. As she prepares to send the letter, she is knocked off course by a handsome stranger on a bicycle. This stranger ends up spending the holidays with Josie, thus beginning a new romance. Until Max disappears without saying goodbye. Mary Kay Andrews is a fabulous Christmas author. Her book, “The Santa Suit,” celebrates the magic of Christmas and second chances. Ivy Perkins buys an old farmhouse, looking for a change in her life. When she finds an old Santa suit, she finds a note in the pocket: a note from a little girl who has one Christmas wish for her father to return home from war. Ivy goes on a mission to find the author of this note and reunite this family, and she finds more than what she bargained for in the beginning.

The Holiday Ex-Files by Jennifer Peel

Let It Snow by John Green, Lauren Myracle, and Maureen Johnson 

These are three holiday stories written into one book, all written by bestselling authors (mentioned above). John Green, obviously from The Fault in Our Stars, however, Lauren Myracle wrote the Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, etc. books; those books made me fall in love with reading! These three stories follow a small town in a Christmas Eve snowstorm. Read these stories and then go watch the movie on Netflix!

So, This is Christmas by Tracy Andreen 

Anyone who likes Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares will love this small-town Christmas romance. (And anyone who loves Hallmark Christmas movies, of course.) Finley town returns to her hometown, Christmas, Oklahoma (yes, that’s the name of the town), from boarding school. Her best friend is dating her ex-boyfriend, her parents separated, and her arch nemesis got a job working at her grandmother’s inn. In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren 

I read this last year and was pleasantly surprised! This was my second Christina Lauren novel. The main character, Maelyn, travels with her family every Christmas to a snowy Utah cabin with two other beloved families. But Maelyn, since childhood, has harbored a crush on one of the brothers. When her family drive away from the cabin one last time, Maelyn makes a simple plea to the universe: “Please. Show me what will make me happy.” Suddenly, Maelyn is back on an airplane, bound for Utah, where she begins the same holiday vacation. now, she must figure out how to break free of the strange time loop—and finally get her true love under the mistletoe.

The Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand

This is a Hallmark movie in book form. Kelley Quinn plays the owner of Nantucket’s Winter Street Inn and proud father of four, all of them grown and living in varying states of disarray: Patrick, Kevin, Ava, and Bart, who is the youngest and only child of Kelley’s second marriage to Mitzi. When Mitzi is caught kissing Santa Claus, as soon as family arrives at the inn to gather together to celebrate the holidays, utter chaos descends. Overall, I know that Elin Hilderbrand is a good author and I’m excited to read this holiday book!
